“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me” (Psalm 50:15).

Greetings to you all in our Wonderful Savior!I trust you all are doing well in the Lord and rejoicing in Him and basking in the light and security of His everlasting love!

Because of the Coronavirus concerns, his has been a difficult time for all of us and our nation, and at a time like this it’s good to remember that “My times are in thy hand . . .” (Ps. 31:15).   God is sovereign and is absolute control.  He is working all things to the praise of His glory and for the good of his people.  Jesus Christ is “working all things after the counsel of his own will.”  (Eph. 1:11).  It is amazing that in troublesome times like this, we Christians can be and should be living with joy and peace in our hearts (Phil 4:4-7).

Some have asked about how to give to the church if not able to attend the services yet.  You may send your check to Wheatland Baptist, P.O Box 99, McPherson.  Or you can just hang on to your offerings and give whenever you are able to attend services again.  We appreciate your faithfulness in giving since our church expenses do continue.

Let’s continue to pray for one another as well as for our country.  Take time to call one another as well.  It’s nice to hear each others voices.  We need to pray for President Trump, that God will lead him and give him wisdom in leading the nation through this time.  The Bible admonishes us to pray for our leaders, those “in authority.“ 1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  1 Tim 2:1-3

If you have any prayer requests or needs of any type, please call me or email me.  My phone 241-7190 or 242-6501 (cell, where you may text me as well)  We want to help you in any way we can.    Let’s pray for revival in our nation as well.  Pray that God will use this “Pandemic” to bring many people to a saving knowledge of Christ.  I believe we can also pray that God will heal us of this disease and protect us; that he will show mercy to our undeserving nation.  I pray that it will dissipate sooner rather than later.  I believe that we can pray that this virus will soon be gone and that God would be glorified in it all.    I leave you with a few of the many, many prayer promises from the Lord.

God bless you all and keep you in His tender care!  ~ Pastor
