Welcome to the website of Wheatland Baptist Church.  We hope that some of the material on this website will help you in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. This site is presented with the motto and mission of our church: “Sowing and Growing for the Glory of God.”

Our purpose as a church is to glorify God by bearing witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ: of His death, His burial, and His resurrection. That is why we preach the absolute authority of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible tells us who Jesus Christ is, why He came to earth, and why we need Him.
There is no greater need within the life of a person than to be made right with God. There are many religions in the world, but Jesus Christ said of Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me” (John 14:6).  That’s the message we preach. Meeting man’s greatest need is why the Son of God came into this world and making disciples of Jesus Christ is why God has put His Church in this world.
